A 22 Watercolor Set In A Brass Compact

This is a watercolor set of portrait select colors for the artist who loves working in this naturalistic group of pigments. The chosen are based on traditional portraitist values for building positive space or flesh tones: yellow throat, star white, shell harp light, yellow of lotus, rose crimson, cornflower blue, macaw blue, antique paper ochre, rose leaf, hawk’s rust orange, toltec umbre dark and grackle brown.

For the background or negative space: violet hematite, goldfinch ochre, virginia creeper, deep ocean blue, cornflower lavender, raw sienna, caldera violet2, cape bg, black earth star and red bunting wm.

All of these colors can also be used for other subject matter. Comes with the brush shown in this fun vintage collectors brass compact. Has a replaceable yupo palette sheet in the lid. Size is 5 1/8” x 3 1/16” x 15/16” + 5/16” with its feet adding extra height.
