An antique silver plated copper repousse box from the late 1800’s, has been filled with sixteen handmade watercolors of: pure brass, goldfinch ochre, solar sunflower, mixtec indigo, bird of paradise, silver aluminum, campeche wood, lichen & sage, pueblo cast iron, pure copper, caldera violet, caldera violet2, rose crimson, north light magenta, iron glimmer and black graphite. This plant dye and mineral pigment set allows for interesting exploration of colors that transmute as well as mix. The box has a wood inner lining and only a small crack in the back corner. Something magical from earth mineral arts.
